Our first client in Carhaix-Plouguer

Chokri Zaied is a tradesperson based in Carhaix-Plouguer. Through ART ELEC, he serves the town and nearby communities with general electrical work, heating, plumbing and repairs.

ART ELEC is Benicode’s first client in Carhaix-Plouguer. This collaboration puts our local presence into practice: helping a tradesperson in our town explain his services online and make it easy for people to get in touch.

His business card was the starting point. It already had a recognisable identity, combining an AE monogram, Chokri’s name and a blue and orange palette. Our role was to carry that identity onto the web and organise the information prospective customers need.

Extending an existing identity

We preserved the monogram’s design and adapted the logo for the website. This was an extension of the existing identity, including the distressed ink texture of the card, rather than the creation of an original business logo.

Blue and orange define the sections, buttons and accents. Large Barlow and Barlow Condensed typography gives the headings a strong presence. Service imagery supports the information without replacing it.

Four services and a straightforward journey

The website is a single page in French. Its opening section introduces the business and offers a direct call or a route to the contact section. Each of the four services has a heading, a short explanation and an illustration.

An introduction to Chokri and a description of his service area provide local context. Phone numbers and the email address are clickable. The site prioritises a direct conversation without adding a form or requiring an account.

On mobile, the columns adapt and the navigation collapses. A skip link, visible keyboard focus and support for reduced-motion preferences are also part of the implementation.

A lightweight foundation for future changes

We built the site with Astro using seven independent sections. Copy, contact details and services are centralised in a content file to simplify future source-code updates. This is not a CMS or a client-facing editing dashboard.

Images are delivered as WebP in sizes suited to different screens. Fonts are hosted with the site, and browser JavaScript is limited to the interactions needed. There are no analytics tools, advertising cookies or embedded maps.

Taking the website live

The website has been live at artelec29.fr since 10 October 2026. We handled publication on Cloudflare and connected the OVH-registered domains while preserving the existing email records.

The .com domain and www variants redirect to the main HTTPS address. A sharing image with the complete logo, an AE favicon, page metadata, a sitemap and crawler directives complete the delivery.

ART ELEC now has a web address bringing together its identity, four services, local coverage and contact details. The delivered outcome is that online presence, designed to make getting in touch straightforward.
